2019 Entrepreneur Census Survey

Startup Canada is releasing the 2019 Canadian Entrepreneurship Census Survey to its network of 250,000 entrepreneurs to provide a snapshot of what Canada’s 3.5 million entrepreneurs need to create an environment that supports their growth, mental health, and social impact.

Conducted for the last four years the Census is the primary listening device for Startup Canada, and will inform the delivery of data-driven programming for 2020, by identifying the main challenges of the entrepreneur ecosystem and addressing them – focusing particularly on increasing growth, supporting mental health, and social impact for every entrepreneur.

Startup Canada’s network of over 250,000 entrepreneurs and enterprise influencers are invited to aid in creating a fuller picture of the Canadian entrepreneurial landscape by January 16th, 2020 and to be entered for a chance to win one of the following prizes valued at $4,000;

  • A guest spot on the Startup Canada Podcast
  • A fully branded #StartupChats
  • 10 $25 Amazon Gift Cards
  • The first 100 people to complete the Census will get a free ticket to Startup Canada Day on the Hill 2020, valued at $150

Alongside the federal and provincial governments, private sector partners, and the broader entrepreneur support ecosystem, Startup Canada continuously works to develop and enhance programming that supports entrepreneurs. The findings of the census will be announced publicly in February 2020 and will serve as the blueprint for building one Canada for entrepreneurs.
