Yukonstruct provides a community co-working space for creators and entrepreneurs in the Yukon to give access to space, equipment, and knowledge. As the executive director, Lana manages this space and helps foster an environment encouraging growth and innovation. A former entrepreneur herself, Lana’s first startup experience was launching a retail boutique and community art gallery in Calgary, AB. Since then she’s consulted for many startups, nonprofits and community organizations, helping them grow and support their members.
“The Yukon is just so rich with nature and culture, inspiration is everywhere, even though it’s remote. So I think innovation comes naturally, and you can attract incredible people that are looking for an adventure.”
