CPAC and Startup Canada Unite to connect entrepreneurs and government

OTTAWA, October 12th Startup Canada is pleased to announce the Cable Public Affairs Channel (CPAC) as National Media Partner of the fifth annual Startup Canada Day on the Hill. To help encourage greater access to this unique event, the partnership will ensure that coverage of the main stage will be streamed LIVE and commercial-free at www.cpac.ca and on the CPAC TV 2 GO mobile app.

Startup Canada Day on the Hill is the largest annual gathering of entrepreneurs, innovators, anchor companies, investors, industry leaders, media and government decision-makers, who come together to discuss and promote policies to support startup and small business growth.  CPAC is the only national media outlet focused exclusively on politics and public affairs.

More than 2,000 people will take part in this year’s event at the Shaw Centre in downtown Ottawa to help build Canada as an innovative, entrepreneurial nation.

Up-and-coming entrepreneurs at Startup Canada Day on the Hill will:

  • be inspired to grow and innovate with cutting-edge insights from world-class speakers,
  • have a voice on the future of entrepreneurship and innovation in Canada
  • be plugged into national and global networks to find mentors, investors, customers
  • find support to grow their business.
