About Jad Robitaille

Jad Robitaille is the founder and president of Mini-Cycle. Also a lecturer in sustainability strategies in the Faculty of Management at McGill University, she brings 15 years of experience in management, sustainable development, renewable energy and marketing to the growth of the Montreal-based start-up. Among other things, thanks to her Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from Queen’s University, she has succeeded in setting up a circular economy model at Mini-Cycle, which offers buy-back, refurbishment, recycling and sales of sustainable children’s clothing. In doing so, Jad combines her enthusiasm for environmental issues, her knowledge of business management, and her passion for zero waste living through her business founded in 2019.

About the business

Mini-Cycle

Mini-Cycle is a small business that operates on a circular economy business model basis. It offers new and second hand clothing for children 0-14 years old and guarantees to buy-back everything. It then washes, repairs and-or up-cycles everything to resell to other parents and make the clothes live on.
