About Young Women in Business, Calgary
Who we are
Young Women in Business Calgary is a non-profit community for emerging female leaders who want to create their own success. We believe every woman should be well equipped with the proper set of tools and knowledge to reach their fullest personal and professional potential. We provide our community with events, workshops, mentorship, and an engaged network of ambitious women, to help them become successful in their career path, take on new challenges, and develop skills.
Shenneile Henry is the President at Young Women in Business Calgary, a non profit organization empowering and creating a community for emerging female leaders. By day, she is a Manager in Risk & Advisory Management at ATB Financial where she has held various roles in the entrepreneurship space over the last 5 years. She was born and raised in Jamaica, but Calgary has been home to her for the past 17 years. She is one of the Directors and founding members for ATB’s Black Team Member Network (BTMN). BTMN strives to advance the inclusion of Black team members through mentorship and development programs, creating a pathway to leadership. Shenneile is passionate about travelling, going on spontaneous trips (pre-covid of course), and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
