About Startup Revelstoke
Who we are
The Revelstoke economy has traditionally been centred around tourism, transportation and timber industries, but as increasing numbers of people trade the stress of city life for the mountain lifestyle, the town’s vibrant co-working community continues to grow and is now home to dozens of freelancers and remote tech workers. We also see a vibrant network of entrepreneurs in both the creative industries and in food processing and production.
StartUp Revelstoke was formed in 2017 to nurture a startup ecosystem that supports the diversification and growth of the economy. With funding from Community Futures Revelstoke, the Community Futures Board of Directors oversees the work done by StartUp Revelstoke and employe one part-time staff person.
