Startup Canada’s Co-Founder announced as Keynote Speaker at LatAm Conference

September 22, 2014, OTTAWA | Victoria Lennox, CEO and Co-Founder of Startup Canada will kick off the LatAm Conference in Santiago, Chile at Centro de Innovacion at the Universidad Catolica as the keynote speaker on the 26th and 27th of September. Victoria is no stranger to building and sustaining startup ecosystems. Her work has focused on providing support for the collective advancement of grassroots entrepreneurs through Startup Canada.
Victoria is an expert in entrepreneurship policy, building enterprise networks (national, communities & campuses), catalyzing movements, & ecosystem governance. Besides being the co-founder for Startup Canada, she is also founded President Emeritus of UK-based Charity National Association of College and University Entrepreneurs (NACUE) and Startup Generation that foster an entrepreneurship culture among students.
The LatAm Conference is the biggest event for startups in Latin America where the goal is to ensure that each startup gets an opportunity to pitch one on one to investors who can help provide funding to take their businesses to the next level. The conference will take place with participation from startups that have previously received seed capital from an incubator or bona fide investor.

LatAm Conference will see startups, investors, trade experts, diplomats and some of the top Latin American thought leaders convene to determine the future action on how to boost the startup environment in Latin America and help these businesses scale globally. This event will provide sharing of Canada’s success stories to help create an environment of learning to drive impact on the global stage.
