Rose FitzPatrick

Rose FitzPatrick has a strong background in project and events management, with more than fifteen years experience in research, communications, marketing, and business, community and government relations.

 

 

Rose received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English/Sociology from the University of Prince Edward Island and a Broadcast Journalism Diploma from Loyalist College, Ontario.

 

 

She’s held various positions with private sector, government and not-for-profit organizations working in the ITC, new media, film and television and tourism industries. In 2005, she joined the PEI BioAlliance as Manager of Marketing and Communications.

 

 

Through her work in these sectors, Rose has been involved in and has led many pan-Atlantic business building, marketing and communications initiatives throughout the US and Europe. She has worked on local, regional and national committees for a number of organizations including the International New Media Festival, Atlantic Canada Film Partnership, Atlantic Canada Cruise Association, the Innovation & Technology Association of PEI, and the PEI Red Cross Humanitarian Awards. Since 2007, she has coordinated the biennial VetHealth Global Conference - an International Veterinary Business event held in Prince Edward Island. And since 2008, she has coordinated the annual Atlantic Canada Mission to the BIO International Convention and trade show in the U.S.

 

 

Currently she is a member of the Greater Charlottetown & Area Chamber of Commerce Communications Committee, Chair of the PEI Bioscience Communications Committee, BIOTECanada’s National BioTechnology Week Committee, VetHealth Global Steering Committee, and the Atlantic Canada Bioscience Sector Committee.
