As Executive Director of the YTA Pat is a community builder working to bring together members of the tech community thorughout the Greater Toronto Region in support of a strong and healthy tech ecosystem.

Pat brings a strong management background built upon the ability to balance the people and economic perspectives needed to achieve business outcomes.  His ability to engage stakeholders and his passion to advocate for the issues and actions that members most value help make the YTA the centre-point for the tech cluster in the GTR.

For 20 years in the natural resources sector Pat's achievements tracked with the challenges, adoption and application of technology and innovation. Pat applied his successful community building approach to consulting with professional and financial services organizations, leading to a role in the development and marketing of the uniquely Canadian model for the establishment of the electronic health record. Pat was president of the 1200 member Toronto Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators, he has been a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors of Canada, and he has served as a member of the York Region Human Services Planning Coalition.
