Nicole is an accountant that looks beyond the numbers.  A highly organized and creative leader, she is a results driven senior financial consultant with a passion for entrepreneurship, and has worked with many small businesses, non-profit organizations and start-up companies.  Dedicated to assisting companies achieve success, she is focused on providing companies with the financial support they need to be effective and efficient, including corporate financial management, internal policy/procedure review, financial budgeting/forecasting, governance and financing strategies.  

Previously, Nicole worked as an Investment Analyst at the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation. There she performed the initial assessment, financial analysis, due diligence and structuring of investment opportunities.  Liaising with the Foundation’s portfolio companies she provided financial and corporate support to start-up companies in a variety of industries.  Prior to joining NBIF, Nicole worked as the Admin Controller at Ganong Bros Ltd, participating in all aspects of the company’s financial and management accounting functions.  This included financial statement preparation, forecasts, budgets, office management and liaising with both the marketing and manufacturing departments.  

Nicole's community involvement has helped her develop into an accomplished administrator, a proven leader and effective motivator.  Nicole has been a soccer coach and club volunteer since the early 1990’s when she founded a club in her hometown.  Since then she has continued to shape policy initiatives and promote the development of the sport through her work on the Board of Directors of the Fredericton District Soccer Club (FDSA) and Soccer New Brunswick.

Nicole has also been the Fredericton Chapter President for CGA New Brunswick, which provides a platform for accountants to network with colleagues, build professional development skills and become involved in assisting non-profit organizations within the community.  In addition, she has also been the Treasurer for the Literacy Coalition of New Brunswick, which is focused on increasing literary and awareness.  Nicole holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick and a Certified General Accounting (CGA) designation.
