Denise Bulger is an accomplished Human Resources professional with over 12 years of HR experience across the technology and financial services industries. With experience across all areas of HR, Denise is considered a strategic business partner with the ability to deliver results. Denise is passionate about the field of HR, and has the ability to build relationships and understand business requirments. She is comfortable dealing with all level of employees, and has provided guidance to the most senior levels in organizations. Over the years, Denise has presented to employers on various topics including ‘Demographics in the Workplace’, ‘Performance Management’, ‘Setting SMART Goals’, and ‘Understanding Your Benefits’.

Denise received her Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Guelph, and her Certificate in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College. She received her designation of Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) in 2005, and has been a member of the PEI Chapter of the Human Resources Association of Nova Scotia since that time. Denise lived in the Toronto area for eight years, where she worked in progressive HR roles at Nortel Networks, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and American Express. Since returning to PEI, Denise has continued to build her career and reputation as a capable Human Resources professional at CGI, DeltaWare Systems Inc., and Cogsdale Corporation. She is currently the HR Specialist for the PEI BioAlliance.

Denise enjoys being actively involved in the community. She has been involved at the executive level of the West Royalty Elementary Home and School Association, and the Professional Development committee of the PEI chapter of HRANS. She has also been a member of the Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce PD Committee, as well as a volunteer with Project LOVE at West Royalty Elementary School.
