Brian Keefe is a Business Administration graduate from the University of Prince Edward Island . He worked for 12 years in the private sector as the general Manager for a large national retailer before returning to Prince Edward Island. Brian has a wide variety of experience in rural development as the Provincial Coordinator for Community Development in Western PEI. Later while working with Enterprise PEI, he worked on maximizing the industrial benefits to PEI during the construction of the Confederation Bridge and later was the General Manager for the Borden Area Redevelopment Corporation.

Brian currently is the Director for Business Development at Innovation PEI. This division is responsible for the coordination and delivery of information and assistance to new and existing local businesses in Prince Edward Island.  The group provides counseling, financial assistance, business guidance; entrepreneur education and management development to assist businesses with start up, expansion and diversification of business that supports the long term viability of Island companies.

Brian is also responsible for Trade,Marketing and Export Development for the Province of Prince Edward Island.
