Jeff Cates

Jeff Cates leads Intuit’s strategic growth in Canada, its go-to-market strategies for its small business, consumer, accountant, and developer offerings, and champions the ongoing commitment to innovation at Intuit, which is a leading global developer of business and personal finance management solutions, such as TurboTax, QuickBooks,ProFile, and Mint.com. Prior to joining Intuit, he led consumer and enterprise divisions for companies including Hewlett Packard and Apple Canada.

James Mackey

James S. Mackey is Executive Vice President, Executive Operations for BlackBerry. Jim’s team sets the overall corporate strategy for BlackBerry and executes towards that vision by working collaboratively across the organization and through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and partnerships. Prior to joining BlackBerry, Jim served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Open Text Corporation and was Head of Corporate Development at SAP. Jim has a law degree, with a concentration on business law and mergers and acquisitions, and a B.S.A in Accounting, both from Villanova University.

Victoria Lennox

Victoria Lennox leads Canada’s efforts to create an environment and culture for entrepreneurial growth and success through Startup Canada. Victoria is the first Canadian and one of the youngest recipients of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion on the recommendation of the British Prime Minister for having pioneered a grassroots youth entrepreneurship movement in the UK.

Namir Anani

Namir Anani, President and CEO of the Information and Communications Technology Council previously led Policy Development & Research at the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). He has held several executive leadership roles at the Department of Canadian Heritage, CGI consulting, Nortel, and Novartis (Switzerland).

Michael Legary 

Michael founded Seccuris Inc. in 1999, an internationally recognized information assurance firm.  Michael is the winner of the 2010 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Prairies region in the Technology category, recognizing the growth and success of the organization over the past decade. Most recently, Michael has taken on the role of Chief Strategy Officer for the company, providing a focus on thought leadership to clients, industry guidance, and our innovation strategy.

Rob Antoniades

Robert co-founded Information VP in 2014 through the acquisition of RBC Venture Partners. Robert joined RBC Venture Partners as a Managing Director in 2004 and led direct investments in a broad range of software and technology companies in enterprise software and fin tech, the strategy extended to Information Venture Partners. Portfolio companies include Varicent, Verafin and Adaptive Insights. Robert is also the Chair and co-founder of the Upside Foundation of Canada.

Ronen Tanne

Ronen Tanne is the co-founder of Serentic ​- an Israeli startup ​that​ ​develops ​a unique ​cybersecurity​ platform based on innovative chip technology​. ​He is also one of three founders of the Vancouver Israeli Technology Club Society, a club of over 400 members with a mission to create a supportive environment for local ​Israeli and Jewish technology entrepreneurs, professionals, and investors, and to establish a bridge between British Columbia and Israel to enhance technology-related business and academic collaborations. Ronen holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia.
