Canadian Entrepreneurship Institute

The Canadian Entrepreneurship Institute (CEI) is a program of Startup Canada that connects policy-makers and program managers at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels of government with professional development training that builds entrepreneurial expertise and competencies within the public service. Through inter-departmental learning sessions, expert lectures, accelerated mentorship programs, Ministerial Receptions and roundtables, CEI is strengthening the public sector’s connectivity, capacity and competencies to create the best environment possible for entrepreneurial growth in Canada.

Launched in February 2016 with an inaugural lecture delivered by Avi Hasson, Chief Scientist of the Ministry of the Economy of the State of Israel, CEI has already engaged more than 150 government representatives and entrepreneurs in workshops, roundtables and policy hearings to build an innovative and entrepreneurial nation.
