As a leading Canadian entrepreneur, Michael has founded and led several information technology, security and defense research organizations over the past eighteen years. 

As the Chief Strategy Officer of Seccuris Inc., Michael is responsible for establishing strategic goals for Seccuris, facilitating consistency of corporate strategy and incubation of new security technologies and research initiatives. 

Michael, who recently received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Prairies region in the Technology category, started Seccuris over 11 years ago. Through passion and innovation, Michael developed a reputation as one as one Canada’s brightest minds on the subjects of enterprise security. In addition to building Seccuris into a national concern - servicing the information assurance and security needs of major organizations, Michael’s expertise and advise is sought after by leading defense and police agencies across the globe. 

In his spare time, Michael focuses his efforts on the development of industry growth strategies including specialized industry incubators, community development programs and education / industry partnerships, in an effort to ensure continued competitive growth for innovation driven industries.
