Startup Canada, in partnership with CATAAlliance and the Canadian Youth Business Foundation, has rallied together more than 60 events across Canada to mentor 10,000 enterprising Canadians over the course of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) next week, November 12 – 18, 2012.

A complete list of events happening during the mentorship campaign is now live on the Canadian Mentorship Challenge website. Check back often as the list will be updated regularly.

The idea for this Challenge was inspired by feedback gathered during Startup Canada’s National Tour this summer, where mentorship was identified as one of the key challenges facing entrepreneurs and startups today.

Last week, Clarity announced it was joining the Canadian Mentorship Challenge campaign to help connect Canadian entrepreneurs with its global network of experts. A customized Startup Canada page of mentors has be added to the Clarity website and entrepreneurs will be able to sign up and get advice on everything from ground floor marketing to raising 2nd stage capital to executing an exit strategy.

Lastly, nominations have closed for our call to celebrate Canada’s Mentor Rock Stars! We’ve selected the inaugural Top 10 Rock Stars and will be announcing and profiling the winners throughout Global Entrepreneurship Week.
